Donna Baron, Branch and Business Development Manager of the Integra Drive office in Concord is retiring on August 6, 2021, after 47 years with The Merrimack.
“Donna has been a comforting fixture for our customers for almost 50 years,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “They adore and appreciate her absolute loyalty to them. Visitors at the Integra Drive branch office often marvel at Donna’s vast collection of Merrimack memorabilia which she has collected throughout her time at the bank. Though we will miss Donna, we are also incredibly happy for her. Her longevity and exceptional dedication has been critical to our success. Donna has embodied Merrimack Style for almost five decades by treating everyone – customers, employees and community members – with dignity, care respect and compassion.”
“We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Donna over many years and wish her a wonderful retirement,” said Mary Lynne Rahlson, SVP, and Retail Banking Officer of The Merrimack. “Throughout her career, she has filled several roles and has helped the Bank adapt successfully to numerous changes. She will be greatly missed by both colleagues and customers, many of whom she calls as friends.”
Baron began her career with The Merrimack in 1973 as a Teller at the main office in downtown Concord. Within two years, she was promoted to Teller Supervisor, and was advanced again in another two years to Customer Service Representative. In 1999, she was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, and she became the Branch Manager of the Integra Office, a role she has held for nearly two decades, in 2002.
Baron is a long-time volunteer for Granite United Way and has served on their Day of Caring event planning committee over the last several years. She is also a longtime member of the Concord Kiwanis and has been a key member of one The Merrimack’s Friendly Kitchen dinner service teams throughout her tenure with the bank. She resides in Center Barnstead.
