NH Sportsdome, an elite indoor training facility opened recently in Hooksett, NH, with financing support from The Merrimack, Capital Regional Development Corp (CRDC), and the Small Business Administration (SBA).
The 80,500 square foot, air-supported, covered single field dome is the first of its kind in the state and is available for rent for team field-based sports such as baseball, field hockey, football, lacrosse, and soccer. NH Sportsdome’s CEO Joel Hatin and CFO Frank Bizzarro both live in Hooksett, NH. This location will benefit the Hooksett community, and surrounding areas, by providing athletic training opportunities in a safe non‑seasonal environment. They plan to open a second location in nearby Goffstown this fall.
The business built a relationship with The Merrimack’s Commercial Lender Randy Sivigny to structure a loan relationship to help fund the NH Sportsdome and later worked with Regional Vice President Stephanie Andruss for other business banking needs. “Helping local business owners like Joel and Frank bring such a grand idea and project to reality is what makes working for a community bank so incredibly rewarding,” said Sivigny. “We couldn’t be prouder to have played a part in bringing this resource to community members in Hooksett and throughout the state.”
In partnership with the Capital Regional Development Corp (CRDC) and the Small Business Administration (SBA), The Merrimack, provided the bulk of the upfront financing to help purchase the land and build the facility.
